Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by the Bisnito team to answer common privacy questions about the Bisnito app ("Bisnito", "we", "us"). It is not a legal opinion or a certification.

What data we access

When you connect a Gmail account, Bisnito requests these Google API scopes on your behalf:

How we use Gmail data

Bisnito uses Gmail data only to provide the in-product email experience you see: showing threads, composing replies, and sending mail as you. Specifically, Bisnito does not:

This use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How your Google credentials are stored

Bisnito uses the Lovable connector gateway to complete Google OAuth. The resulting connection key is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM in our database and can only be read by server code running inside Bisnito. Your Google password is never sent to or stored by Bisnito.

Revoking access

You can disconnect at any time:

  1. Inside Bisnito, go to Settings and disconnect the mailbox. This deletes your connection key from our database.
  2. Additionally, review and revoke Bisnito's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Retention

Encrypted Google connection keys are stored only while your mailbox is connected. Disconnecting removes them from our database. Bisnito does not maintain a long-term local copy of your Gmail messages; message content is fetched from Google on demand when you view a thread.

Account data

Bisnito stores your email address, hashed password (if you signed up with email), and app preferences. This data is held for as long as your account is active. Contact us to request deletion.
